Conservation Through Education
Guests are greeted by the owner David Lando Ramírez and given a brief talk about the importance of reforestation. David holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Santa Clara University in California and designed the tree planting tour to be an enjoyable hands-on learning experience which promotes conservation through education.

Research scientists of the Organization for Tropical Studies advise Dave & Dave's Nature Park on the best species of trees to plant to maintain the ecological balance of the 4 habitats.
With each tree planted guests help bring Costa Rica closer to it's goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2021.
